Altor Corporation, an Arizona manufacturer of unique self-defense single shot pistols, has offered to donate 21 guns to the national office of the Fraternal Order of Police to be used however they choose. The company hopes they will use the pistols to reward meritorious officers or provide them to families that might need some protection.
Altor President, Alexander Malcolm, explained he did this since he was distressed about the recent backlash against police and the demands to defund the police. Malcolm stated that while there are bad people in every profession like teachers molesting students, bankers cheating people, and even doctors molesting young gymnasts; most police officers are committed to serve and protect. And need to be recognized.
The Altor pistol is a single shot defensive gun that is simple to use and exceptionally reliable. It would provide a backup defense for an officer or a home defense weapon for their family or yours. And it is fast and simple to reload, so that makes it more effective for home defense if necessary.
The company chose to call this donation a “21 Gun Salute” since in 1812 that became the highest honor the US rendered to its heroes.
And Altor Corporation wants to recognize some everyday heroes!
